LEAVING VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR - a no no
Clarine Anderson passes along that she had to contact a swimmer
because her registration check bounced. It turns out her car had
been broken into while she was at the pool and her checkbook, wallet,
etc. stolen. The police (this was Palo Alto) said there are gangs of
people who roam looking for cars parked at facilities. She suggested
that there could be a warning in the newsletter about swimmers
leaving their valuables in the car while they are swimming.
