You recently registered for membership of Pacific Masters Swimming.
This is a copy of the recent Pacific Masters update. I hope you enjoy

90 YEAR OLDS FREE
The Pacific Masters Committee voted to suspend
membership/registration fees for all swimmers in the 90+ age groups.
(If you were born before on or before December 31, 1911, Pacific
Masters will pick up your registration fee for this year). Just note
on the registration form that your are taking advantage of the 100%
registration fee discount.
2002 SERVICE AWARDS
Pacific Masters tries to honor a few of its volunteers with the
annual service awards:

Appreciation Award

UPCOMING EVENTS
FOG CITY QUADRATHON
The Fog City Quadrathon will be held Sunday afternoon, January 27th
at the Herbst Natatorium on the St Ignatius College Preparatory
Campus. Swimmers can deck register.

TAMALPIAS POSTAL MILE
The first event of the 2002 is the Tamalpias Postal Mile. Swimmers
can swim the mile any time between January 1, 2002 and February 28,
2002 and you can swim it in your own pool.

ONE HOUR POSTAL
The annual USMS One Hour Postal Swim is from January 1 through
January 31, 2002. The rules are fairly simple, it is to see how many
yards you can swim in one hour. It is a very good chance to see how
well you are swimming at the beginning of the year.

PAC MASTERS INDOOR RELAYS
Get your team together to for relays at the 17th Annual Pacific
Masters Indoor Relays at Oceana High School Pool in Pacifica, Sunday,
February 3rd. Awards will be given to the top three teams. The relay
meet will start at 9am and the Marlins are promising that it will
finish between 1 and 2 pm, in plenty of time for swimmers to get back
home for the 3:17 SuperBowl kickoff.

OFFICIALS CLINICS
Sierra Nevada will have an officials clinic in Sparks, Nevada at 1201
Baring Blvd. from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25th at Round Table in
Baring Village Shopping Center.

From Sacramento take 99 north to Chico, take 20th St. exit, left over

Take I-5 to 299 East, exit on Old Oregon Trail. Take 2nd Shasta
