PACIFIC MASTERS NEWSLETTER
The March April Pacific Masters Newsletter is now on the web site. It 
includes the names of all the swimmers who achieved top six ranking 
in the Open Water Points Competition.

UPCOMING EVENTS

TAMALPIAS POSTAL MILE
Swimmers can swim the mile any time between January 1, 2002 and 
February 28, 2002 and you can swim it in your own pool.

Only four more days to compete.

RINCONADA SPRING MEET
The deadline for the Rinconada Meet is Wednesday February 28th (entry 
must be received by then).  If you wish to swim the 500 freestyle, 
you must preenter. The last event of the day is the unofficial 1650 
fly. There are also two novice events - the 50 free and the 50 back 
(Novice: no prior competitive Masters experience). You may also deck 
enter the meet.

Pacific Masters AFFILIATE - LANDS END
Lands End is a maker of fine sports apparel for the active person.

Lands' End will rebate some of the money of your purchase to Pacific 
Masters.

BECOME AN OFFICIAL
March 9th is now SET IN STONE for a clinic in Sonora. Bill Fisher 
will also arrange to have a room available with a TV and VCR. Sierra 
LSC is still working on the time. They are thinking about starting a 
mini meet at 11:00 am and having the officials clinic prior, say at 
9:00 am!
