PACIFIC MASTERS MONTHLY MEETING
The Pacific Masters Swimming May  monthly meet will be Wednesday, 
June 26 at the Oak Hill Park Community Center in Danville. All 
members are welcome to attend.

SHADOWCLIFFS OPEN WATER
Registration for the TriValley Masters Shadowcliffs Open Water Swim, 
June 29, 2002, can be done on the internet. Go to

BURLINGAME SPLASH AND DASH
The Burlingame Splash and Dash is a sprint LCM meet on June 30th. 
The 200 meter relays and the all  the 50 events are the only events 
on the schedule. Race day entry  is available.

LONG COURSE CHAMPIONSHIPS
A couple of extra things about the Long Course Championships in Santa Cruz
Facility: "Dogs or other pets are not allowed on the campus."

Entries:  "All relays will be deck seeded."
Events 17 and 18 are the 200 meter freestyle events, not the 800. The 
800 meter freestyle are events 43 and 44.

Entry Fees: Add after the address "PLEASE DO NOT SEND ENTRIES THAT 
REQUIRE A SIGNATURE.  THEY WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER.  If you want 
an entry confirmation, include a SASE or post card.  Sorry, entries 
cannot be confirmed by phone.

FREMONT POOL GRAND OPENING
The Grand Opening of the new Sunnyvale/Fremont High School joint-use, 
50-meter swim complex.  The celebration will occur on Wednesday, June 
26th at 5PM.  The location is poolside at Fremont High School, corner 
of Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road and Fremont Ave.


Pacific Masters AFFILIATE - LANDS END
Lands End is a maker of fine sports apparel for the active person.

COACH NEEDED
Osprey Aquatics, a well-established and growing team in south San 
Jose, seeks an Age Group Coach to start in the Fall. Practices are 
conducted at Willow Glen High School and Middle School. For further

NEWSLETTER PHOTOS
Photos for the newsletter are especially welcome. Not only Open Water 
but would like to have some from other meets this summer. Digital 
images from the Long Course Championships can be e-mailed to Joanne 
Bervan  (mailto:jdnevreb at attbi.com )  or photos can be sent, but she 
would like to have a 'heads up' that photos are coming. (They could 
email me that the photos are in th email).
