PACIFIC MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Pacific Masters 2003 Short Course Yards Championships will be
held at the University of California Santa Cruz April 4, 5 and 6th.

STROKE CLINIC - OLYMPIC CLUB
The Olympic Club and Pacific Masters will be sponsoring a stroke
cline at the Olympic Club in San Francisco April 13th. Pool training
- rotation through stations for practice of sprint,mid- and
long-distance techniques discussed in the classroom and worked on in
the pool. A flyer is available, for further information contact Scott
Williams (415) 775-4400. The clinic is limited to 30 participants.

COACHES NEEDED AT PACIFIC MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS AND NATIONALS
If you are a coach and would like to work with swimmers that do not
have a coach at either Pacific Masters Championships or USMS
Nationals please contact

COACHES TO GO TO ASCA CLINIC IN SAN DIEGO SEPTEMBER 2-7
FOR USMS coaches interested in attending the 2003 ASCA World Clinic
in San Diego in September, USMS is offering one free registration
grant per LMSC up to 25 LMSCs on a first-come, first-served basis.
This is a tremendous opportunity for any Masters coach to further his

RESULTS
The Strawberry Canyon Aquatic Masters Spring Invitational was held at
the Spieker Pool on the University of California Berkeley. The
results of the meet are now posted. Thanks to Eric Deam, Helen
Salcedo and the Strawberry Canyon Aquatic Masters for putting on the
event.

a clinic for swimmer who wish to compete. it will be in Burlingame,

Highway 101 through Novato, (north or south), EXIT- Ignacio Blvd-Bel Marin
Keys Blvd. Take frontage road (Nave Drive) on the East side of Hwy
101 South to Hamilton Air Base Main entrance (Do NOT enter the Base
at State Access Rd.). Proceed though the Gate straight ahead on Main
Gate Road for a 1/2 mile, across a bridge, past the old theater and
NCO club, both on the right. side of the road. Follow Main Gate Road
to make a right turn on Langley Lane. Proceed straight ahead,
Langley Lane ends (there are signs pointing to the Community Center
and pool), make a right turn go one block to North Circle. This is a
large traffic circle within your route. Take the circle almost
completely around, make a right on the road going up the hill (Sunset
Drive). There will be signs saying "Pool" at this junction. Make
2nd left going up hill off of Sunset into El Bonito. Parking lot for
the pool and the "Old Officer's Club" is the dead end of El Bonito.
Pool and Cabana are down a steep flight of stairs from the parking
lot.
