PEGGY LUCHESE AWARD
George Cunningham awarded the Peggy Luchese award to Rebecca Pinto of
Menlo Masters. Rebecca is frequently seen cheering for her team mates
at meets. Also she was counting laps for one of the Menlo swimmers at
the Championships, there was no one counting laps for me, so she held
the lap counter so I could see it. Congratulations Rebecca.

OPEN WATER EVENTS
The first two meets of the 2003 season are coming up:
	Spring Lake May 10th http://www.pacificmasters.org/comp/03rcmow.html
and
	Lake Berryessa June 7th http://www.pacificmasters.org/comp/03damow.html
The Spring Lake meet is a great meet that is not too long and if you
have never swam in an open water event, it will make a great first
open water swim. It is about a month away so if you have never swam

pre-entry deadline is Friday.
