UPCOMING MEETS
Pincrest Lake Open Water Swim will be this Saturday August 21st. 
Pinecrest Lake is just east of Sonora, California. You can enter on 
the beach at 6:30am. All swimmers should check in by 8:00am. The two 
mile begins at 8:30- am and the two mile begins at 10:00 am.

RESULTS
All the results for the all sanctioned Pacific Masters events have 
been posted on the web site. Recently added include the TransTahoe 
Relay Swim and the Donner Lake Open Water Swims.

Local Oranizing Committee Meeting
The XI FINA World Masters Championships Local Organizing Committee 
will meet at the Koret Center, University of San Francisco, Parker 
and Turk Streets. August 18th (Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM). All are 
welcome to attend.

Junior College
The Community Colleges have some of the best education value there 
is. One can take liberal arts, technology courses, or physical 
education course, for a very reasonable price. The community colleges 
are open to people of all ages. The fall semester are just starting 
and many classes are still open.
