The average number of events per swimmers is 4.2. The oldest male
swimmer is 90 and the oldest female swimmer is 96.

DONNER LAKE OPEN WATER SWIM

PINECREST LAKE OPEN WATER SWIM
The Pinecrest Lake open water swim is on Saturday, August 27th.
Shiela Monaghan wrote that she swam in Pinecrest lake for 2 hours and
it was absolutely lovely. The temperature was perfect for long swims.

PACIFIC MASTERS MONTHLY MEETING
The June Monthly meeting will be held at Heather Farms, Wednesday
evening July 20th, 2005. All members are invited to attend.

IX FINA OPEN WATER CHAMPIONSHIPS
Eight swimmers swam the proposed open water course for the XI FINA
World Masters Championships. The was was fairly flat and the
temperature was between 68 to 70 (about 20 -22C). The open water swim
will have plenty space for spectators to cheer on their friends,
family and teammates.

Have a good week

OFF THE WALL
I will be traveling to Montreal for the FINA World Championships.
Does any one have ideas about how to keep the telephone cost down? I
hate to make long distance telephone calls from the hotel.
