SERVICE TO OUR MEMBERS
The Pacific Masters executive committee met in December to review
where Pacific Masters is going and what can be done to improve our
service to our members. There was much discussion, and we want to
share our ideas with the membership. The committee will be discussing
the Mission Statement and the goals at the April meeting, and would
welcome you input. You can make comments directly to me by email, or
may attend theMeetings

"SWIM FOR JUST 60 MINUTES A WEEK AND YOU'LL CUT YOUR RISK OF PROSTATE
CANCER 31 PERCENT" From Men's Health April 2008 (Of course I realize
that this information is of value to only 50% of our members.) (I
wonder if I swim 2 hours a week will that cut the risk 62%) "Men with
the highest fitness levels are three times less likely to die of
cancer compared with those are are least active according to a
University of Buffalo study."

PacMasters does well in FINA 2007 Top Ten (Take two or six)
I tried to read the FINA Top Ten. The information was in 5 point type
in a four column format. There was no team designation, only country
designation. I have made many changes and there have been five
updates. The current version is at:

east side of San Francisco or south side of San Francisco, please let
me know michael at pacificmasters.org. Thank you.
