UPDATE ON DORE SCHWAB Rev 1.01
Nancy Ridout reports:"Saw Dore again today. He looks good and was
ornery and feisty! That's an
improvement. Now he WANTS visitors - lots of them. So, if you're in
the area, drop by and take a few minutes to say "Hi!" if you can. He
very much appreciates your encouragement and support. He remembers
what each of you has said in your cards and it means a lot to him.

SICK CALL
Dale Finch of the San Mateo Master Marlins is in North Carolina being
treated for breast cancer. She expects to be out of the water for a
few months and hopes to be back by the end of the year.

Dale has been one of the leaders of the Marlins. She has also been
the meet director or the assistant meet director for many of the
Marlins meet. She was the recipient of the Pacific Masters 2000
Distinguished Service Award

COACH NEEDED
The Eichler Swim & Tennis Club in Palo Alto is looking for a coach
for their swim team: the Eichler Gators. The team competes in the
local Junipero Serra Swim League. Coaching responsibilities include
running practices Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 7 PM and
coaching 6 dual meets and one championship meet.

All meets are held on Saturdays. Practices begin 3/31/03 and the
season closing championship meet will be held on 7/19/03. The team
consists of approximately 100 kids between age 6 and 18. The team
parents provide much administrative support and run the meets,
allowing the coach to focus on coaching the team.

If you or anyone you know might be interested, please contact Gil Chu
at home at 650-856-0604 or at work at 650-725-6442.
