PACIFIC MASTERS MISSION STATEMENT
As adopted by the Pacific Masters Committee the Mission of Pacific Masters is:

Pacific Masters Swimming welcomes anyone who would like to gain and maintain fitness through swimming and encourages programs to foster this mission.

PACIFIC MASTERS ANNUAL MEETING

The Pacific Masters Swimming 2010 Annual meeting will be held at

All clubs are invited to send a representative to the meeting. All members are welcome and encouraged to come to the meeting.


INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION
USMS memberships expire on December 31. However, if you renew or register between November 1 and December 31, your membership will be valid for the following year as well. Thank you to the over 1,400 PacMasters members who have already registered.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION
A version of the 2011 registration application form had the wrong fee, it slipped through quality control . The 2011 fee is $44. The forms that were sent to each individual swimmer were correct but some clubs got the incorrect ones. Please check your form before sending it in to see that it states $44 as the fee. If it doesn't, please make your check out for $44 so it doesn't get returned and delay your renewal.

BREASTSTOKE CLINIC - FEATURING ROQUE SANTOS AND SCOTT WILLIAMS
San Mateo Master Marlins invites you to attend and participate in a breaststroke clinic they are hosting on Saturday, November 20th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The clinic takes place at their new facility at the San Mateo Athletic Club. Cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Roque Santos of Walnut Creek Masters will team up with Marlins coach Scott Williams to present the clinic.

INTRODUCTORY COURSE ON SWIMMING IN THE BAY
The Dolphin Club in San Francisco offers a monthly introductory course on swimming in San Francisco Bay.

For new swimmers and for anyone who wants to brush up or learn more. Held once a month, this hour-and-a-half session includes materials about Aquatic Park geography, tides and currents, swimming in cold water and how to avoid hypothermia, our non-human friends in the water, and lots more.

1-hour chat with Q & A followed by an optional group swim. Non-members welcome, with payment of $6.50 day-use fee.

CHANGES IN CLUB INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
There have been a bunch of changes made to the PacMasters website. The Places to Swim page now has the club names and pool addresses of clubs that have registered or 2011, filled out the survey and replied that the club accepts drop ins.

TIME PER HUNDRED

In looking in the website, I came across a page that just lists the time per hundred and how long it would take you to swim a given distance. It was designed by Bill Tingley and used by Kerry O'Brien at a clinic.
